The wine has a pale garnet color. The first nose expresses slightly smoky and meaty notes, which develop towards tertiary notes of wet leaves and wilted rose, dried peony, associated with spicy aromas (nutmeg, white pepper, fresh liquorice), dried fruits (dried cherry, dried raspberry), crushed strawberry and a very light note of macerated cherry and prunes in the background. We also find the refreshing notes of peppermint and fresh pine needles, which appear on the second nose. The palate is suave, gourmand, with perceptible tannins (very slightly grippy), but fine and mellow. It expresses tertiary notes of faded rose, wet leaves, dried peony, dried tobacco, associated with notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, clove, liquorice), dried fruits (dried cherry, dried strawberry , a fine touch of prunes), crushed strawberry, macerated red cherry and crushed morello cherry, as well as herbaceous touches (dried mint, dried pine needles in the background). The finish is salivating, with lively acidity and notes of crushed red fruits. Complexity with integrated notes of development.
