The nose is fruity, elegant and offers delicacy, a fine intensity, a fine power as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe wild raspberry and small notes of flowers (violet, cornflower) associated with hints of small wild fruits, slight toasted hints, liquorice stick as well as very discreet hints of graphite (in the background), spices, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of Tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, delicacy, a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, tension, elegance as well as a good and very discreetly tight tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of chocolate, toasted, very slight hints of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers and nutmeg. Tannins are elegant and structuring. A hint of sapidity and an imperceptible hint of olive tree in the background / on the finish. A very discreet chews on the finish. Good persistence.
