The nose is fruity and offers elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy raspberry, ripe fleshy redcurrant and small notes of cassis, violet associated with touches of almond, grove as well as very discreet hints of vanilla / sweet spices, licorice / colas, an imperceptible hint of thyme and a discreet hint of leather (in the background). The palate is fruity, fat, suave, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild red berries and small touches of bigarreau cherry associated with hints of elderberries, grove as well as an imperceptible hint of spices and cocoa. Tannins are well-built and a bit firm. There is a discreet hint of almond on the finish / persistence.
