This wine is ruby with a paler color at the edge. It is shiny. The first nose is discreet on crunchy red fruits such as raspberries and wild strawberries. A sweet side emerges like grenadine. We also feel a little minerality (ferrous) and tomato coulis. With aeration it is always very fruity but this time more on small black fruits such as blackberries. We smell a little sweet spices, a hint of toast and light alcohol. The palate has a marked acidity. There are crunchy black and red fruits like cherry, blackberry. The tannins are smooth, a little dry on the tongue and they turn into bitterness in the mid-palate. It’s simple. The fruits are well drawn. The finish is more on brandy fruits. It’s persistent and salivating with black pepper.
