The wine needs to be decanted. It presents concentration and a slight intensity. It reveals notes of crushed violet plum, fleshy cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with fine touches of wild strawberry as well as a hint of lily/sense of place and a discreet hint of sage and offers an imperceptible hint of black olive. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a mineral frame, a good definition, accuracy, suppleness and offers a certain concentration and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of roasted-elegant cherry, pulpy blue plum as well as fine hints of star anise, violet, chocolate, toasted almond, sage, and a subtle hint of rosemary in the background.
