The nose offers fruit, elegance, a delicate pepper side as well as a nice finesse and intensity of the grain, with an airy side. There are notes of bright boysenberry, bright strawberry and small notes of rosemary, thyme associated with touches of bright red berries, hints of violet, cherry blossom as well as discreet hints of liquorice and a hint of bergamot. The palate is beautifully built, supple, precise and offers mellowness, precision as well as tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy boysenberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of bright red berries associated with touches of bay leaf, rosemary as well as hints of bergamot/black tea, sweet spices, vanilla, fine hints of toasted hazelnut and sweet pepper. Tannins are sapid and elegant. Good persistence.
