Baron de Lustrac – Folle Blanche 1977 – Bas-Armagnac

Baron de Lustrac – Folle Blanche 1977 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is powerful, fruity and offers a fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of orangette, ranco, small notes of dry citrus associated with touches of tobacco/cigare, cuben pepper, cedar as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice stick, nougatine (in the background) and bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, racy and offers a good definition, juiciness/suavity, gourmandize, fullness, a small fleshiness/unctuosity as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this Armanagnac expresses notes of orangette, quince, small notes of brugnon associated with touches of  lemon/citrus dry zests as well as touches of crème brulé, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Good length.
