The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a very fine grain, slightly powdered and elegant. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of boysenberry , crushed blackcurrant and small almost roasted-juicy small fruits notes associated with fine hints of cornflowers. The palate is nicely built, fresh, well-balanced, mineral and offers an acidulous frame and offers juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, crushed blueberry and small notes of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of nutmeg, cardamom as well as hints of star anise, quite concentrated small fruits, a subtle hint of vanilla and toasted almond. Beautiful suavity and gourmandise. A wine full of suppleness, silkiness and minerality. This wine deserves a few more years of aging.
