Barboursville Vineyard – Nascet 2019 – Virginia

Beautiful and elegant nose that offers complexity, a certain gourmandise, deepness as well as a beautiful small intensity in its aromatics. We find notes of apricot, yellow peach and small notes of fresh mirabelle plum associated with touches of small touches of crushed white fruits as well as a discreet hint of orange and an imperceptible hint of passion fruit. Freshness, brilliance and a fine crunchiness. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, chiseled and offers minerality, freshness, gourmandise, a tangy frame, tension, precision, a beautiful energy, purity, a fine flint side as well as a certain breadth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright nectarine, bright mirabelle plum and small notes of bright physalis associated with touches of juicy pineapple, hints of pulpy small white fruits as well as discreet hints of white flowers, beeswax (in the background) and lime blossom. Good length.
