Beautiful, fruity, fresh, elegant, racy and deep nose that offers a nice identity/sense of terroir as well as a fine peppery side. It reveals notes of pulpy blue plum blackberry and small notes of star anise associated with touches of quite ripe/crushed small blue fruits and an almost balsamic hint (in the background). The palate is nicely built, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous frame, precision, a certain tension, suavity as well as suppleness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blue plum, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of Bigarreau cherry as well as hints of pulpy small blue fruits, Bourbon vanilla and a hint of toasted hazelnut. Good length. Outstanding elegance in its silky texture.
