The nose is elegant, aromatic, delicate and offers complexity, finesse, a very fine racy power and a small racy minerality. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, cherry and small floral notes combined with touches of “sense of place” / local grove, racy minerality as well as hints of Cuben / gray pepper, spices and very discreet toasted hints / chocolate (in the background). The palate is fruity, elegant, mineral and offers gourmandise, precision, an acidulous frame, a fine tension, a beautiful suavity as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cherry, juicy / acidulous raspberry and small notes of purple plum associated with fine touches of cassis, violet as well as hints of laurel berries, pepper and spices. Tannins are elegant and well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of chocolate on the finish / persistence.
