Balthus de Reignac 2024 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is elegant, velvety, it offers a lovely finesse in its texture and a certain delicacy in its small power. It reveals notes of violet, boysenberry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of nutmeg, gray pepper and a hint of graphene and sweet pepper. The palate is mineral, fresh, juicy and offers tension, beautiful energy and a mineral frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cassis, and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of juicy/fresh raspberry, as well as hints of lilac, juicy/pulpy plum, cocoa nibs, toasted almond and toasted hazelnut. Good length. An iodized, gourmet mid-palate. A subtle hint of coffee on the persistence.
