The nose is well-balanced, powerful and nicely aromatic. It reveals notes of tobacco, earth / peat and gray pepper associated with a subtle hint of blackberry, cassis, barley and a discreet touch of salty minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, straight, lively and offers a nice definition, juiciness, suavity, gourmandise as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this Whisky expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of red berries associated with a touch of candied orange, spices, cedar wood, barley, honey as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom, peat and a subtle hint of dark chocolate. There is a hint of clove on the finish. Good length and very beautiful persistence.
