The nose is fruity and offers a fine sweetness as well as elegance. It reveals a fine touch of dried white grapes, green apples and fine touches of candied lemon, candied pear combined with a fine hint of pineapple in syrup as well as a touch of pâtisseries (in the background). oak, chocolate, honey and a very discreet hint of salinity. The palate is fruity, beautifully gourmande and offers fat, unctuousity, a fine delicacy, harmony and precision. In the mouth this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of candied pear, raisins, citrus fruits and pineapple in syrup associated with fine touches of pâtisseries, white peach in syrup as well as a discreet touch of grilled oak, caramel, vanilla and a very discreet touch of cocoa. There is a hint of spices on the finish.
