The nose is fruity, fresh and offers some richness and volume (from the lees stirring). There are notes of crushed mirabelle plum, crushed white berries and, more slightly, beeswax, combined with subtle hints of medlar, as well as discreet hints of almond and very fine vanilla. The palate is fresh and balanced, revealing minerality, good definition, some richness, fine grain and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy yellow apple, pear small notes of medlar combined with hints of lychee, a subtle hint of passion fruit (in the background) and a discreet touch of beeswax and honey. A subtle tannic sensation on the finish. Good length.
