The nose is fruity, mineral and offers a fine freshness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of black cherry, small juicy/fresh black cherries and small notes of raspberry, ripe strawberry associated with a touch of cherry in kirsh, hints of graphite, cardamom, caramelization as well as a subtle hint of cornflower, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of Brazilian pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a mineral frame, a good definition, suavity, a fine fat, tension, a good structure, a good juiciness as well as juicy/crunchy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy black cherry, crunchy/juicy blackberry and small notes of crunchy red berries (raspberry, strawberry) associated with a touch of plum, very fine hints of violet, liquorice, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean and caramelization. Tannins are elegant and very finely chewy. A very fine chew on the finish. Good persistence.
