Baglio del Cristo di Campobello – Lalùci 2024, Grillo – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fruity and offers a certain aromatic power and fine richness. It reveals notes of mirabelle plum, kumquat and small notes of small fleshy yellow fruits, associated with touches of yellow flowers, as well as fine hints of fleshy yellow apple and a discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, juicy and offers energy, freshness, a crystalline/racy side and a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy apple, fleshy/juicy pear and small notes of mirabelle plum, combined with fine touches of mandarin, kumquat, as well as fine hints of almost exotic fruit. Good length and acidity. A hint of saltiness and toasted almond on the finish/persistence.
