Baglio del Cristo di Campobello – Laluci 2013 – DOC Sicilia

The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness and a fine gourmand side. It reveals notes of quince, ripe/fleshy mirabelle and small notes of almond associated with fine touches of small yellow flowers, bee wax as well as a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good freshness, fullness, fat, a fine grain as well as a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy mirabelle, fleshy quince and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with a touch of crushed kumquat, racy mineral as well as very discreet hints of flowers, vanilla, honey and fresh almond. Good length. An imperceptible/very discreet chew on the finish/persistence.
