The nose is fresh, spicy, elegant and offers aromatic power. There are notes of Bigarreau cherry, spices and, to a lesser extent, pepper, combined with fine touches of fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of peony. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, harmony, fullness, a nice guideline, delicacy, a good structure, a racy minerality and a nice airiness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, juicy/pulpy plum and slightly peony notes combined with fine balsamic, liquorice, toasted and discrete chocolate hints. Tannins are precise and mellow. Sapidity and a nice stretch on the finish. An imperceptible hint of coffee in the background.
