Baglio del Cristo di Campobello – Adènzia 2009 – DOC Sicilia

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a small minerality, a small intensity and a fine deepness as well as freshness. It reveals notes of ripe/juicy lemon, ripe/fresh citrus zests and small notes of apple associated with small touches of fresh flowers, racy minerality as well as a hint of fresh quince and very discreet hints of fresh almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral/juicy frame, precision, finesse, gourmandize, a fine fat as well as a good definesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, juicy/fresh quince and small buttered notes associated with small touches of crushed mirabelle as well as fine hints of pear, honey, toasted hazelnut and very fine hints of almond/chestnut. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of grilled/grilled hazelnut on the persistence. A chalky sensation on the finish.
