The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is delicate, finely spicy and woody. After aeration, it expresses notes of fresh oak, toasted almond (in the background), liquorice, nutmeg, a very slight touch of clove, associated with notes of fresh fruit (fresh red cherry , strawberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, cranberries), dried flowers (dried rose, dried cornflower) and herbs (tobacco, mint, even eucalyptus, which appears after the wine has breathed into the glass), as well as a very delicate tar note in the background. The palate is more aromatic, with a gourmand and fruity attack, but the mid-palate is tighter, which expresses the firmness of slightly rough tannins. We find flavors of wild strawberry, ripe red cherry, raspberry, crushed blackcurrant and cranberries, associated with slightly bitter notes of toasted almond, coffee, as well as touches of tobacco, wilted rose, fresh tobacco and crushed mint leaf. The finish is sapid, but tight, due to the firmness of the tannins. It is balanced by a good level of acidity, gourmand chocolate notes and a certain juiciness of the fruits that we find on the finish. The wine appears to be closed at the moment.
