The nose reveals notes of bud, old wood and small notes of rose wood associated with touches of red fruits, rose as well as hints of small red berries and spices. This wine should be decanted. The palate is juicy, fruity, suave, full and offers fat, a good finesse of the grain, freshness, an acidulous/juicy frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy red cherry and acidulous raspberry candy associated with fine hints of blackberry, flowers (rose, violet) as well as discreet hints of liquorice and a very discreet hint of balsamic on the finish. Tannins are well-built.
