AXR – Sauvignon Blanc 2017 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a good definition as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of white fruits, quenette and small notes of citrus (lemon, mandarin) associated with small hints of exotic fruits as well as a discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, a good mineral frame, a slight juiciness, roundness, fat, fleshiness, a small unctuosity as well as a good acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / mashed brugnon, quenette and small notes of pear associated with touches of citrus, lemon as well as slight hints of zest and an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background).
