AXR – Chardonnay 2020 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and fresh and offers a little crispy side, a certain intensity and offers a good definition. It reveals notes of pulpy brugnon, juicy fresh pear and small notes of pulpy mirabelle plum, associated with touches of apricot blossom and a discreet hint of apricot. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, gourmandise, a tangy frame, a good definition and suppleness. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy pear, bright nectarine and small notes of apricot associated with fine touches of apricot blossom, mirabelle plum as well as a subtle hint of acacia and verbena. Good length. A wine offering gourmandise and a lovely textured, gourmand texture. Good persistence.
