The nose is aromatic and offers a slight freshness, a slight minerality as well as gourmandise. It reveals notes of quince and slight touches of yellow peach combined with touches of crushed Williams pear, candied lemon, a very discreet hint of mirabelle, as well as hints of toasted oak / vanilla and a very discreet / imperceptible hint of butter. The mouth is well-balanced and offers fat, freshness, a nice acid frame, a nice minerality, volume as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, quince and apple associated with slight / discreet touches of fresh mirabelle, honey, a very discreet hint of zest (in the background), toffee (in the background) as well as slight touches of wood / vanilla and a discreet hint of butter. Oaky notes are well integrated. Good length and persistence.
