The nose is fruity (crunchy / ripe fruits). It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, cassis and small notes of ripe wild red fruits combined with touches of crushed cherry, wild blackberry, jammy raspberry, violet, sweet spices, toasted touches as well as a discreet touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, a slight minerality (almost saline), suavity, juiciness, a slight fleshiness as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and wild strawberry combined with discreet touches of saline minerality and wood. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length. There are slight touches of dark chocolate and toffee on the persistence.
