The wine is worth decanting. The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers a certain power, depth, a multi-layered side, intensity in accuracy as well as a nice sunny and spicy side at the same time (pepper, cardamom, etc.). The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, elegant, racy, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, all in accuracy, precision and minerality, silkiness and delicacy, harmony and fullness. It expresses notes of crushed blueberry, small red berries, crushed/almost jammy redcurrants associated with touches of bright raspberry as well as hints of star anise, black olive, a subtle hint of garrigue, black olive, chocolate, toast. Nicely conducted and mellow, A side almost creamy red berries and liquorice. Beautiful elegant grain, fine and mellow on the finish/persistence, velvety, fine hint of creaminess. Power of the solar with silky/coating character of the Bordeaux.
