The nose is fruity, racy and offers some intensity and fine power. There are notes of boysenberry, crushed wild strawberry and, more slightly, crushed redcurrant combined with fine touches of blackcurrant, blueberry, chocolate and a discreet hint of pepper and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers elegance, a nice freshness and a fine power. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/juicy blue berries and, more slightly, wild strawberry, combined with hints of vanilla, blueberry and fine hints of dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut. A very discreet hint of pepper and almost balsamic in the background. Good length.
