The nose is aromatic, a bit tight and offers a small concentration, a very fine intensity as well as roundness. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberries, fleshy wild strawberries and small notes of fleshy redcurrants combined with small touches of black berries, Cuben pepper as well as very discreet hints of cassis leaves, spices (nutmeg …) and a subtle hint of liquorice (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight, harmonious and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful roundness, suavity, tension, a good structure as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy / ripe cherry and small notes of juicy redcurrants, wild strawberry combined with discreet / imperceptible hints of liquorice, cassis leaf, lilac and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper. Tannins are fine, well-built and already quite supple. There is a very discreet hint of tonka bean on the finish / persistence. The finish is (very) slightly powdered.
