Lovely ripe, fruity nose that offers a certain small concentration, depth, purity, darkness as well as a precise and intense grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of star anise associated with touches of small wild black fruits associated with fine touches of small blue fruits, cornflower as well as fine hints of wild raspberry, a hint of infusion and camphor. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers suavity, gourmandise, tension, a certain brilliance, roundness, gourmandise, a nice spherical side, a tangy frame, energy as well as a vibrant side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy-roasted cherry and small notes of black plum associated with touches of violet, tonka bean/mocha, touches of roasting as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, fine hints of vanilla as well as a subtle hint of almost roasted herbs and a discreet hint of pepper. The tannins are sapid. Good length. A fine saline and sappy side at the same time on the finish/persistence.
