Aromes de Pavie 2021 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose reveals intensity, power, fine grain, depth and a nice approach. There are notes of bright blackberry, cherry and more lightly blueberry combined with hints of fresh/crunchy blue berries as well as discreet graphite and a subtle hint of tonka bean. The palate is nicely fresh, elegant and reveals juiciness, brightness, definition, roundness, fullness and a nice freshness/juiciness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses bright cherry, strawberry and slightly blackcurrant notes combined with hints of violet, lilac, grey pepper as well as discreet hints of tobacco, fresh almond and a subtle hint of fresh chocolate. A beautiful freshness, energy and gourmandize. A nice work on the bitter taste which bring some pep.
