The nose is fruity, powerful, racy and offers a beautiful grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, juicy/ripe Boysen berry, small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of lily, cornflower, crushed small blue fruits as well as fine hints of ripe/crushed cherry, zan, discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, roundness, gourmandize, pulpiness as well as a beautiful fat (full of finesse), tension and power (but controlled). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cassis, small notes of juicy wild strawberry associated with touches of small crushed red berries, cornflower, small crushed blue fruits as well as fine hints of nutmeg, hazelnut, toasted, cocoa, an imperceptible hint of black tea (in the background) and cardamom. Good length. Tannins are elegant and racy.
