It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed wild strawberry and more slightly blueberry associated with fines/discreet touches of liquorice, violet/lily as well as discreet touches of almond and a discreet oaky. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a fine minerality frame, a beautiful finesse of the grain, harmony as well as a small gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed wild strawberry and wild cassis associated with fine touches of coffee, dark chocolate/cocoa as well as subtle hints of tea, a discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background) and discreet caramelized hints. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length.
