The nose is elegant and offers richness, deepness, complexityas well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of toasted/caramelization, crushed blackberry, small pulpy blue fruits, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with very fine touches of bigarreau cherry, pulpy wild cassis, nutmeg, toasted, fine hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of grey pepper. The palate is elegant, juicy, gourmand, beautifully defined and offers a juicy/bright fruit, a fine acidulous/juicy frame, suavity as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, a certain richness, power and complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cassis, small notes of small bright blue fruits associated with fine touches of caramelization, toasted, toasted hazelnut, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of violet, tonka bean/chocolate and a subtle hint of bourbon vanilla. Tannins are beautifully built and melt.
