Arnaldo Caprai – 25 Anni 2020 – Montefalco Sagrantino

The nose is powerful and offers a certain intensity marked, currently by vanilla. There are notes of crushed red fruits, vanilla and small notes of pulpy blue plum associated with touches of smoke, blond tobacco as well as a hint of spices and a very discreet hint of local grove. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, aciduly, a beautiful definition, suppleness as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ juicy cherry, juicy/ bright cassis and small notes of fresh/ juicy blackberry associated with touches of vanilla, sweet blond tobacco and discreet toasted hints. Good length. A slight pulpiness of the fruit. Soft tannins.
