The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, juicy and airy, with a pleasant acidulous frame as well as a saline mineral touch in the background. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, bigarreau cherry, crushed blackcurrant, wild blackberry and tangy blueberry, associated with a touch of aromatic herbs (rosemary, bay leaf, thyme), a delicate floral perfume (peony, rose), as well as subtle spicy and toasted touches (liquorice, cardamom, coriander seeds, crushed pink pepper, sweet coffee, toasted hazelnut in the cocoa background). The palate offers accuracy, straightness and juiciness. It expresses the flavors of sour red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, sour strawberry, wild blackberry and blueberry, combined with a fine herbaceous hint (dried aromatic herbs (thyme, rosemary, fresh bay leaf, a hint of olive leaf, dried pine needles), a toasted and chocolatey touch (toasted almond, bitter cocoa), as well as a hint of violet and a slight minerality that appears on the persistence. The finish is long, gourmet, on flavors of red cherry with chocolate and a good bitterness, reminiscent of citrus fruits (grapefruit, bergamot) which develops towards cocoa notes (mint chocolate, bitter cocoa). Beautiful fresh and salivating acidity. Beautiful concentration, good potential, balance and lots of flavors.
