The nose is fruity, fine, concentrated, elegant and aromatic. It reveals notes of black cherry, ripe/crushed redcurrant and cassis associated with slight notes of racy minerality, strawberry flowers as well as a subtle hint of mocha, a woody hint and an imperceptible hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, well-built and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, tension, an aerial side, a beautiful freshness, a nice definition as well as a beautiful guideline. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe red cherry, cassis and plum associated with touches of fresh Gariguette strawberry, slight touches of toasted oak, licorice as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and violet. Good length. There are slight touches of spices, chocolate, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut on the aftertaste.
