The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry cream, blackberry and slight touches of blueberry jam associated with hints of fleshy wild strawberry, licorice, woody hints as well as slight hints of dark chocolate, a subtle hint of coffee and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight, slight, racy and offers a beautiful juiciness, tension, elegance, gourmandise, a certain power, a beautiful suavity, finesse, a nice definition, precision as well as a nice structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis jam, raspberry jam and touches of wild strawberry associated with slight woody hints, zan, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are chewy/mellow. Good length and persistence.
