The nose is fruity, relatively powerful and spicy. It reveals notes of black fruits, blackberries and liquorice combined with touches of cassis, a discreet hint of raspberry and slight notes of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, elegant and offers freshness and a nice silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of liquorice associated with slight notes of chocolate, spice, slight notes of black cherry (in the background) as well as a few slight / discreet notes of wood (in the background). Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length and persistence (with slight notes of Sichuan pepper).
