The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is airy, perfumed, with elegant floral nuances that are revealed from the start (peony, fresh rose, violet), complemented by a hint of maceration (macerated cherry, macerated plum) and a herbaceous touch of mint and rose leaf. There are also notes of fresh strawberry, raspberry and morello cherry, associated with a hint of roasted cherry, nutmeg and liquorice in the background. The palate is fruity, juicy and gourmet, enveloping and fresh. It expresses notes of fresh fruit (cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry, a hint of cranberries), as well as touches of peony, fresh rose and nutmeg. The tannins have a fine grain, but a grippy texture and a touch of bitterness on the finish. The finish is savoury and gourmand, with notes of ripe fruit (fresh morello cherry) and roasted fruit (strawberry, raspberry), with a hint of rose stem. Beautiful salivating acidity and good persistence.
