The wine shows a pale lemon colour. The nose is intensely smoky, offering notes of gunpowder, struck match and almost silica. The palate shows distinct mineral and smoky character, powerful, textured acidity, complex nuances of yellow apples and lemons, supported by delicate hints of roasted almonds and chestnuts. The light bitterness on the finish adds to the freshness and complexity. A serious and already well-developed food wine.
