The nose is fruity and finely powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and discreet notes of red berries combined with hints of olive and discreet hints of spices (nutmeg and a discreet hint of gray pepper). The mouth is fruity and offers a small minerality, a small freshness, a small juiciness as well as an acid frame. On the palate, this wine expresses hints of fleshy blackberry, cassis and fine notes of cherry associated with hints of licorice, black olive and toasted oak. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly dry. Good length and good persistence. The finish and the aftertaste are slightly suave.
