On the nose it offers a little power as well as a fine dusty side. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis and more slightly pepper associated with small touches of violet, plum blossoms, fine hints of tobacco, spices as well as a discreet hint of rosemary and pepper. On the palate it is fruity, finely restrained and offers juiciness, freshness, roundness, gourmandize, a little straightforward, creaminess as well as some richness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly of ripe Quetsche plum associated with small touches of vanilla, tobacco as well as a subtle hint of liquorice, almond, liquorice and a very discreet tip of local grove.
