The nose is aromatic, elegant and relatively rich. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and plum associated with a discreet hint of ripe red fruits as well as a touch of flowers (hawthorn, violet) and a hint of spices (nutmeg…). The palate is fruity, mineral, fine, elegant, well-structured and offers tension, straightness, a slight juiciness, a slight suavity, a slight gourmandize as well as a beautiful fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, juicy plum and slight hints of blueberry, red fruits (redcurrant, cherry) associated with a hint of tobacco, zan as well as discreet notes of Ceylan tea, spices (nutmeg…) and a very discreet hints of hazelnut on the finish. Good length and good persistence. The finish/persistence is suave and gourmand. There is a very discreet hint of cacao and grilled coffee on the persistence.
