The nose is aromatic and quite intense. It reveals notes of boysenberry and plum associated with slight hints of crushed strawberry, oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (hawthorn, violet) and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral and well-balanced. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, plum and slight notes of cherry associated with a discreet hint of raspberry jam as well as hints of toasted oak, zan and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
