The nose is powerful, fine and intense. It reveals notes of Zante currant and dried lemon zests combined with slight touches of pepper, candied fruits as well as a hint of caramel and dried flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, good definition, a slight acidity, fat, unctuosity as well as delicacy. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of caramel pear, candied lemon and candied tangerine associated with a subtle touch of Zante currant, dried apricot as well as an imperceptible touch of dried fig, pâtisseries and almonds. Good length. There are a subtle hint of hazelnut / almond and candied mandarin on the aftertaste.
