It reveals notes of zante currant , candied strawberry and small notes of pâtisseries associated with small touches of candied plum, cedarwood/exotic wood, toasted as well as discreet hints of orange flowers, dried citrus, spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful gourmandize, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful elegance, an acidulous frame as well as a beautiful finesse of the graina and of the structure. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of very ripe/candied plum, zante currant and small notes of caramelization, pâtisseries associated with small touches of candied citrus/candied orange as well as discreet hints of almond, nut, tobacco, cedar as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and candied pear. Very beautiful length, aromatic power and persistence.
