André Goichot Pouilly-Fuissé 2022 – Puoilly-Fuissé

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is gourmand and very fruity. It expresses notes of crunchy yellow apple, yellow peach, peach nectar, roasted apricot with thyme and honey, candied lemon peel, a fragrant floral touch (slightly sweet apple blossom, acacia, linden), a light touch of vanilla and coriander seeds, as well as toasted hazelnut. The palate is juicy, expressive and gourmand. It offers the sweet and fleshy side of ripe stone fruits (ripe apricot, ripe yellow peach) and exotic fruits (ripe pineapple), as well as sweet flower honey, candied lemon, citrus jam, a touch of grapefruit, combined with notes of toasted hazelnut in the background, apple blossom, acacia and roasted apricot with thyme and honey. The finish is juicy, gourmand, with slight notes of vanilla. The gourmand flavor of roasted apricot persists on the finish, combined with a pleasant acidity of candied lemon.
