André Goichot, Les Belles Filles 2022 – Pernand-Vergelesses

The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is warm, juicy, with lots of fruit. It offers aromas of fleshy red and black fruits (fresh red cherry, morello cherry, strawberry, a touch of blueberry and black plum), associated with the freshness of mint, blackcurrant leaf (in the background), cut rosemary, as well as as well as a delicate spicy (liquorice, a hint of vanilla, cumin) and floral (lilac, iris) notes. On the palate, the wine offers an airy side, lightness and juiciness, with a pleasant tangy structure and salivating acidity. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, red currant, crunchy strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, combined with notes of white pepper, smoke and roasted aromatic herbs (in the background), as well as a floral touch (iris, lilac). The tannins are fine, velvety. Good length with gourmandize and roasted cherry notes.
