Ammonites par Matthias et Emile Roblin 2022 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color, with light golden reflections. The nose expresses pronounced mineral notes (limestone, a touch of clay, dry stone), associated with tangy citrus aromas (lime, yellow lemon, grapefruit), a vegetal touch of green beans, as well as notes of green apple and apple blossom. The palate offers a sqvoury and gourmet attack with notes of white peach, yellow plum, apricot and juicy green apple. We also find tangy citrus flavors (yellow lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit), a limestone touch on the finish, as well as a good bitterness and a floral scent of hawthorn. Good persistence in the mouth with a salivating acidity and a dense and concentrated, but lively fruity substance.
